On June 9, 2015, the AT~SEA consortium organised its concluding public event in Brussels.

Speakers included Mr Muyters, the Flemish Minster for Innovation, and Ms de la Torre, Director “Key Enabling Technologies” at the European Commission (DG Research and Innovation) as well as several other leading experts.

At the event the start of AT~SEA Technologies was announced. This is a spin-off company from the AT~SEA project that will supply turnkey seaweed farms. The company was co-founded by 8 of the AT~SEA partners.
